Nowadays ultrashort lasers become industry standard for surface processing of many materials. Current state-of-the-art femtosecond lasers are capable to process almost any kind of materials at high speed with unmatched precision.
Short pulse duration with high peak intensity are the main factors for absorption and ablation. Extreme high energy density leads to local vaporization thus minimizing heat load to the surrounding material. Hard, transparent materials can be now easily processed with femtosecond lasers thanks to multiphoton absorption processes.
Cutting, scribing, drilling, marking and engraving are among typical applications of our Jasper laser family for glass, solar cells, wafers, semiconductors, ceramics, metal sheets, polymers and medical devices.
Thanks to our unique all fiber and SESAM-free technology used in laser’s oscillator we achieve excellent wavelength, pulse duration and power stability needed for micro machining applications.
